The Great Reset: U.S.–Venezuela Relations in a Post-Maduro Era

Private Panel I

The Diaspora as a Strategic Actor in the Future of U.S.-Venezuela Relations

Venezuela’s reconstruction cannot happen without Venezuelans. With 8.4 million living abroad, disproportionately credentialed and connected, the diaspora is the most immediate and underutilized asset for recovery. The session will feature perspectives on how to maximize the impact of the diaspora to advance the transition.

Private Panel II

Venezuela’s Resource Opening: Oil, Minerals & the Capital Imperative

The session will cover what governance conditions and institutional credibility must exist before capital commits with confidence, and what a credible political transition means for making those conditions durable.

Private Panel III

Beyond Oil: Sequencing Venezuela’s Essential Economy

The conversation will focus on three layers: getting goods, medicine, and capital flowing to a population that cannot wait; building the rule of law and contract enforcement that anchors long-term investment; and the harder question of what happens to multilateral engagement and business confidence if institutional momentum stalls.

Private Working Luncheon

Venezuela’s New Chapter: Building the Institutional Architecture for Recovery

This working luncheon brings together the actors who build institutions — ministers from the region, the OAS, democracy and governance organizations, and private sector leaders — for a practical conversation: What will each actor in the room do in the next 12 months, and how can they coordinate so the outcome is greater than the sum of its parts?

Public Panel

Venezuela 2040: A Vision for Bilateral Reconstruction

A high-level public conversation co-hosted with Foreign Policy Magazine. A curated reflection on the future of U.S.–Venezuela relations, focused on the White House’s view, Congressional expectations, and the country’s new investment frontier.
