GA Summer Internship Program
We offer an immersive internship program focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean policy analysis, research, communications, and editorial work. This opportunity is designed for undergraduate and graduate students eager to start their careers in international affairs, providing a foundational experience in a dynamic think tank environment.
Summer Session
June to August
Applications for our summer session are now open, and will run until April 29. We are in search of:
Writing/Research Intern: High standard for sourcing. Clear writing. Background in political science, economics, or related fields preferred.
Communications Intern: Experience with social media management or marketing (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). Experience with graphic design, via Canva or Adobe products. Educational background in communications, journalism, or design preferred, but not required.
Web Management Intern: Experience with WordPress web design and management. Experience with WordPress plugins; Astra and Elementor preferred, but not required.
Podcast Intern: Experience with podcast and/or video editing. Experience with Adobe editing software preferred, but not required. Educational background in communications or journalism preferred, but not required.

- A short writing/work sample of no more than two pages.
- A personal statement telling us who you are, what skills you bring to the table, and why you want to intern at Global Americans. Please keep it to 300 words or less, in a font we can read.
