Board Member – Owner and CEO of Marathon Sports, the leading sporting goods retailer in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru, Mr. Ribadeneira graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado in 1992. He joined Marathon Sports, a family business in 1992, establishing and running the wholesale division. Shortly thereafter, he began expanding the business throughout Latin America. Since 2002, he is President and Board Director of the principal companies of the Marathon Sports Group. During his time at the company’s helm, he has been instrumental in the growth, development, management and retail concepts such as Explorer, Teleshop, Marathon Sports Outlets.
