It’s hard to believe Trump and Putin’s first official meeting will take place this Friday at the G20 in Germany with the numerous compliments these two have given one another. But even with the pressure he is facing from the U.S. Congress to bring up the Russia investigation during their meeting, it’s unlikely he will. But even all great relationships have their little fights. While in Poland, Trump had some tough words for Putin, urging Russia to “cease its destabilizing activities in Ukraine and its support for Syria and Iran.” Putin didn’t hold back either, criticizing U.S. trade sanctions and Trump’s protectionist policies.
