Is there any logic in the chanting and scapegoating promoted by leading candidates such as Trump or (Canadian) Cruz or is it just political posturing? Is it racism? In a nation of immigrants, where almost everyone’s ancestors came to escape hardship and to pursue a better life, are today’s immigrants really any different?
