That’s not how I imagined olympics fever

Together with the current economic recession, a hovering corruption scandal, a potential presidential impeachment and now the WHO declaration of a global emergency over the Zika virus, Brazil seems to be taking more than it can handle.

Taken together with the current economic recession, a hovering corruption scandal, a potential presidential impeachment and now the WHO declaration of a global emergency over the Zika virus, Brazil seems to be taking more than it can handle. Nevertheless, as Carnival this month has shown, the chaos has not stopped Brazilian’s from holding events. Perhaps the current 500 million unsold tickets suggest that instead of “olympics fever,” they have a fear of Zika fever.
