Allison Fedirka has nearly 20 years of experience working in geopolitical risk analysis and forecasting. She specializes in Latin America and focuses on connecting the region to the world’s broader geopolitical landscape. She lived in South America – primarily Argentina and Brazil – for more than seven years during which she became well acquainted with the various business practices in Latin America. Her fluency in Spanish and Portuguese allowed her to construct a robust network across energy, mining, trade, industry, and security fields throughout the region.
She currently serves as the Director of Analysis at Geopolitical Futures, which she joined in 2015 as a senior analyst. In this role she built the company’s geopolitical model for emerging markets – Latin America, Sub-Sahara Africa, India – and integrated these regions into a cohesive global view. Prior to joining Geopolitical Futures, Ms. Fedirka worked for Stratfor as a Latin America specialist and Regional Director. During this time she conducted on-site evaluations of political, security and economic climates in areas of client interest to support site expansions or project determinations.
