President Donald Trump's relationship with Latin America will surely be one to watch this year.

Since taking office, President Donald Trump has met with Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, Argentine President Mauricio Macri and now Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos— post the debacle when Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto refused to set foot in the White House as a show of force that Mexico would not pay for “the Wall.”

Is Latin America on President Donald Trump’s radar? One can only speculate where Latin America falls in line with Trump’s priorities as Brazil continues to reveal more layers of corruption, US-Cuban relations are still under review, and Mexico’s murder rate climbs, placing it now second to Syria in murders per capita.
